Mission & History
g lounge, New York City's premier gay bar has been setting the standard since 1997. Since then, the original gay lounge has been copied by nightspots all over NYC and in gay neighborhoods around the globe. Recently renovated, the bar continues to lead the nightlife industry.
g's mission, to serve quality cocktails in a comfortable, beautiful, and creative environment, is met by the friendly, hardworking staff of sexy bartenders, waiters, and of course the management team. From the onset, g's approach was innovating—from the original Frozen Cosmo to the live nightly DJs to the circular bar—it's always been fresh.
The lounge is open daily from 4pm to 4am, with a reduced-price Happy Hour weeknights until 9. Serving to a diverse crowd of gay professionals, Chelsea boys, and metropolitan hipsters. Fierce DJs spin House music, R&B, pop, and disco.
